The 3rd Annual Acoustic Cafe was a great success with non stop music from 7pm until well after 12am. In addition, all money collected at the door and through 50/50 raffles will benefit Hospice of Windsor in the name of James Ouellette, Past Commodore, and good friend and sailor who passed away in 2008. A special thanks to all the artists who donated their time and talents in no particular order. | Windsor Yacht Club EventsThe Eccentric Band are regular performers at The Windsor Yacht Club and enjoy the hospitality of the staff and members of this beautiful Club on the Detroit River. Along with performing at special events such as the Jimmy Buffett Party in July and The Commodores ball in November, and new years Eve, We can be heard on the some Friday evenings as well. Members of other reciprocal clubs are always welcome to attend the events here. |

| Pelee Island RegattaFrom modest beginnings in 1994, The Pelee Island Regatta has become one of the largest sailing events and afterglow parties in Southwestern Ontario. The race itself is informal. One class is a spinnaker class and the other cruising, or jog class is for those who wish to casually cross the lake at a leisurely pace. In any case, there are no protests in either class as this is a fun race. Powerboats are welcome to come for the party too! The afterglow party was originally sponsored and hosted by our good friends at the Pelee Island Winery Pavilion, and last year it was decided to move the event to a location closer to Scudder Marina. Our new Hosts, The Anchor & Wheel Inn, put on a fantastic party, that was sponsored in part by Pussers Rum out of the BVI's. Mark and the gang at the Anchor and Wheel Inn will be Hosting the party once again along with Pussers Rum, which of course will be the exclusive rum served at the event! A special thanks goes out to the corporate sponsors that sponsor the cost of the entertainment. Helping Haiti Benefit February 12, 2010

A lot of hard work culminated into an evening of great entertainment that raised over $11,000 (including Governement matching)for the people of the Haiti. A special thanks goes out to Den (Ned) Lauzon for his substantial donation of artwork that was raffled off and putting a fire under every one's butts to keep the ball rolling. Also, thank you to Wayne Durant who loaned his P.A. system and did a fabulous job making everything sound great, and Band Ayd systems for lending us the lighting..
Other artists performing along with The Eccentric Band were; Skybludancer, Meadows, Tom Hogarth, featuring Ray Manzerolle, Scotty Hughes, Kevin Grenier, Doug Gouin, and Joe Del Duca, John Theaker.
